What is Vegswap?

Launched in January 2009, Vegswap brings together home growers to swap their surplus fruit and veg. You don't have to register to take a look at what's available but you will need to register if you want to swap. Register today. It’s free.

Growing your own is a fantastic way to make sure you and your family eat healthily and ease the cost of living. Sometimes though, you end up with a surplus of foodstuffs that might not last as long as you’d like. So what do you do? You use Vegswap to exchange your goods for somebody else's goods. No money changes hands - it’s just your veg for their veg - that’s it, VegSwap!

What can you swap on Vegswap?

Not only can you swap fruit and vegetables but eggs, honey, and homemade jams or juices. If you have something to swap that we don’t have on our website then contact us and we will add it for you.

Vegswap can be used to list all of the items that you have a surplus of. You list whatever foodstuff you want to swap, along with the weight and how long it will be available for so that everyone will be able to see what fruit & veg you have to offer.
